Mount stealth has a long cooldown, whereas gliding stealth is based on your endurance and can be used more frequently. It does make a difference because it means you can spread it out, or if you find it hard to save up you only need to get 25g, then spend it, then get another 25g. If I’m going super fast to speed towards whatever event/rift I’m chasing, I accidentally hit a leyline and I not only get taken in the wrong direction (if it were the right direction, I would just take the leyline) but I also just stop dead midair and need to gain height again with the skyscale.
